It is my
pleasure to invite all concerned parties to participate in
the coming Kuwait Contractors Conference and Exhibition.
The parties
dealing with any construction project are: owner,
Consultant, and contractor. On some projects owner and
consultant can be one, on others contractor and consultant
can also be one. On privatized projects all the three can be
one body.
Contractors in Kuwait have a very long history of experience
and the major contractors have been recognized as
international contractors in some parts of the world.
This conference shall bring together all expertise on
contracting issues and associated topics. It shall discuss
the relationship between contractors and concerned
ministries. Furthermore, it shall
raise the questions related to contracts with the relevant
agencies affecting decisions on contract awards. On the
other side it shall highlight the needs to adopt
construction management, environmental issues, and risk
management analysis on contracts.
The conference shall be accompanied by an exhibition to show
Kuwaiti contractors achievements and completed selective
projects in private and public sectors..
At the end I
again welcome your participation in the coming Kuwait
Contractors Conference and Exhibition .

إنه لمن دواعى السرور أن أدعو كل
الأطراف ذات العلاقة الى المشاركة بمؤتمر ومعرض الكويت
للمقاولين والذى سيعقد قريبا.
إن أقطاب العلاقة فى أى مشروع
إنشائى هم: المالك ، الإستشارى ، والمقاول. وفى
بعض الحالات فإن المالك والاستشارى قد يكون واحدا
بينما فى البعض الآخر يكون المقاول والاستشارى وحدة
واحده. وفى مشاريع الخصخصة قد تتحد الأقطاب الثلاثة
لتكون مجموعة واحدة.
يتمتع المقاولون فى الكويت بتاريخ
طويل من الخبرة لدرجة أن بعض شركات المقاولات الكويتية
الكبرى تمارس أعمالها كشركات عالمية فى بلدان متفرقة
من العالم.
وسيعمل هذا المؤتمر على تجميع
الخبراء فى مجالات المقاولات والموضوعات المرتبطة بها.
كما سيناقش المؤتمر العلاقة بين المقاولين والوزارات
المعنية. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك سيتناول المؤتمر محاولة
الإجابة على جميع الأسئلة التى توجه الى الجهات
الرقابية والتنظيمية التى لها دور فى اتخاذ القرار
الخاص بترسية عقود المقاولات.
وعلى الجانب الآخر سيسلط المؤتمر
الضوء على أهمية اعتماد نظم إدارة التشييد ،
والإعتبارات البيئية ، وإدارة المخاطر وتحليلها لبيان
مدى تأثيرها على عقود المقاولات.
وسيصاحب المؤتمر معرضا لإبراز
الإنجازات التى حققها المقاولون الكويتيون والمشاريع
المتميزة التى أنجزوها فى القطاعين الخاص والعام.
وفى الختام مرة أخرى أكرر الدعوة
للمشاركة فى "مؤتمر ومعرض الكويت
للمقاولين ".
